Hi, when an apprentice is placed on a BIL because of changing employer are we supposed to record an employment status of unemployed for the short period of time they will be without an employer until they start with new employer/return to learning?

We do because it represents the truth (and helps us track things when we look at it later), but I'm not aware of any guidance that makes that super clear.
