T Level below planned hours
Created
We had a T Level student start in 22/23, who's still on programme now. They started a few weeks late, but the curriculum team intended to put on some extra sessions to make up the missing hours, so we recorded the normal Planned Hours for this programme.
It now transpires that the team weren't able to deliver any catch up sessions, so the student will be well under band in terms of hours. I know hours are "planned", but since they started late, and we have no evidence of any catch up, there's no way an auditor would accept that.
We are planning to just update the Planned Hours now to reflect the truth and drop the band, but is that going to break anything? It wouldn't be an issue in year 1, but we're now in year 2. The Planned Hours are supposed to stay the same in each year.
Any advice, thoughts or experience would be really helpful 😊
