Apprentice restart - Can they return to old version of standard?

We have an apprentice who withdrew in October 2022 but now wishes to come back. Since they withdrew the apprenticeship standard has a newer version. Is this apprentice able to restart on the old version, or do they now need to enrol on the new version with the restart indicator? They only have around 1/4 left to do, and frustratingly the new version only went live at the start of this month! Thank you in advance.
