I believe Milestone 1 is based on the start date of the programme and learning aims (which would both have the same date). % and qualifying periods vary according to the project.

Christine Gregory Hi, no i havent and i came back on here to ask the same question again.
Do you have any advise at all?
You'll need to have two learning aims to claim M1:
- Programme aim
- Component learning aim
As long as those are filled in and submitted, you don't need to 'claim' M1 via the ILR, it's claimed when the learner has been on programme for the qualifying period (for us that's 14 days, not sure if there's any variety across other funders), which is worked out using the start date you enter.
