Apprentice moving outside England

Hi all!
We have a learner whose employer has offered them the opportunity to work in Central America. They have already been in employed in England for over half of their apprenticeship and have said that they will be spending the rest of their apprenticeship 50% in England too. My main concern is that they will not be paid by their offices in the UK, but will instead go on the pay for Central America. Will this cause issues with Funding for the PAYE scheme on DAS and them not being eligible for funding?
Thanks,
Eve

If they stop being paid by the UK organisation, doesn't that mean they're no longer employed by that organisation? In which case, they'd have to withdraw. I'd say they need to stay being actually employed and paid by a UK organisation.
