It doesn't change the way we collect the Prior Level though, the ILR Spec on that field hasn't changed. It's always been collected for all students, regardless of whether it impacts on their funding.
Also, it is still part of the eligibility criteria for 19-23 year olds on an aim with legal entitlements.
We are just collecting all the possible info we might need to determine fundability on the form (paper or online) or in person, and the enrollers will determine funding based on all the provided info, then let the student know if they have to pay. We'll be adding a statement something like "If you are 19+ on 31st August 2024 please note that some of our programmes require tuition fee payment while others are free with full funding from the Education Skills and Funding Agency. Please tick all statements relevant to you in the section below so that we can assess your funding status", and asking how they plan to pay if they're not eligible for funding.

Collecting Prior Attainment in 24/25
Created
Hello
We are currently updating our paperwork ready for the start of academic year 24/25 and wondered what plans people have in place re Prior Attainment. Are you still asking for this information at learner enrolment / what changes are being put into place around the upcoming changes to prior attainment.
Thanks for your help.
