We had this once. I was told is was a restart, then months later found out they never actually did any further learning before going on another break (before finally withdrawing altogether). Withdraw the original enrolment, and just take the "restart" (that never really happened) out of the ILR.
Thanks for coming back to me Ruth Canham-James, it's much appreciated. Just to muddy the waters further, we also recorded a small PMR payment against the learner in R7 (against the new BIL) Would I also need to move that payment to the original BIL record (once amended to Withdrawn)?

Return from BIL then Withdrew with No Additional Learning

Hi All,
I'm hoping someone may be able to provide some guidance as to the most appropriate way to submit an apprentice following BILs and a subsequent Withdrawal.
We have an apprentice that had previously been on an extended BIL, the apprentice briefly returned from the BIL before going on a further BIL a few weeks later and has subsequently been Withdrawn from the apprenticeship. Following the initial return from the BIL, a new learning start date was recorded however, the apprentice has not been well enough to undertake any further learning and has since been withdrawn. The last date of learning provided is that of the initial BIL end date which in turn precedes the new Start date so errors on submission of the ILR (LearnActEndDate_01 and LearnDelFAMDateTo_01).
Can I amend the last day of learning on the Withdrawn record to match that of the new start date (in effect showing they did not undertake any further learning) or should the second BIL/Withdrawn record have the start date adjusted to be in line with the original start date? To note the original BIL occurred in the previous academic session with the re-start and the following BIL occurring in the current session (submitted in R08)
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks
