Tailored Learning, funded more than once on a z code

Created

None

I've trawled through what little guidance there is on tailored learning and can't seem to find an answer so hoping someone can help.

Can a learner be funded through tailored learning on the same Z code multiple times?  my thoughts are yes as long as its a difference course type eg: carpentry then construction but wondered if the outcome needed to be different maybe.

Thanks in advance.

Yes. No. ;)

It's not our fault we've only got a skinny list of Learning aims to pick from for TL (and, indeed, for CL), so as long as you can show the two courses are different or are progressing the learner (which you'd probably show as much through the RARPA paperwork/Learning Outcomes etc as the title) if they're one after another.

Outcome does not need to be different. A learner can very much build confidence or improve their wellbeing on several courses in a row!

TL guidance says:

We would not expect to see multiple enrolments on similar level courses, or a repeat of similar learning aims where this does not benefit the learner’s development.

So just make sure you can show why it does benefit the learner's development.
