If often physically not possible to get apprentice signatures. In theory it's an agreement between employer and apprentice, so we do ask for an employer and apprentice signature in most cases, but we're pragmatic about it. Breaks do get applied sometimes when an apprentice has just left an employer, and you can't get signatures for that.

Hi,
I was hoping someone could help. When we first started delivering apprenticeships we was working with a college and we adopted their processes; due to this, we still send forms for signature, to the learner and the employer, when we process their break in learning. Is this necessary?
