I'm sure Martin has said in the past it's the just the remainder of the original band. Whilst you won't be recording an Original Start Date, you will be recording it as a Restart in the ILR, so they can tie all the data together with ULN and Standard code, and presumably apply the original cap. I'm not sure if that is what happens though. You could put in a higher price and see if it gets capped!

Withdrawn Learner Returning to Learning

We have a learner who withdrew from his apprenticeship standard back in January 2023. He has now re-applied for the same standard via his new employer. However, the price cap has now changed.
Are we able to charge the higher amount to the new employer and reduce by what was claimed from his old employer or are we only able to claim what was left when he left his old employer?
