CMI Level 5 Award in Management and Leadership

A potential apprentice wants to undertake the L5 ODM but has the above award which was completed in 2018.  They have stated they have not retained any of the knowledge or learning from this award.  Based on their declaration would it be OK not to RPL?

None of the knowledge? Not saying it's not possible, I guess, but I think an auditor would find that incredibly hard to believe, given it wasn't really that long ago. I'd be very hesitant to not apply at least some RPL. Have you conducted a full initial assessment/skills scan?

Hi Ben, yes a full skills scan completed with apprentice, Skills Coach and employer.  I am with you, very rocky ground with an auditor but both employer and apprentice declare they need to do all the KSBs!
