New standard

Created

Hi,

One of the apprenticeships we deliver has just been replaced with a new standard. With the old standard the learners had to pass all of their exams before they could progress on to EPA.  The new standard has been designed so that when learners reach EPA they have an exam embedded into it.

My question is can we swap the new standard EPA across to learners on the old standard?  Or is that a no no?

TIA

I guess you mean it has a new LARS code, not just a new version number? You can always change Standard if you want, you'd just have to do a Skills Scan again and treat it as brand new, as if you were switching from Engineering to Hairdressing, just with a lot more RPL! Personally, unless they only started recently, I'd be recommending to the delivery team that they don't do that, it's a whole lot of paperwork and confusion for the apprentice and the employer.
