Apprentice Transfering from L2 standard to a L3 standard.

Hi,

We have apprentices who has completed more than 6 weeks on program which the employer now wants to move from a L2 to L3 standard.  Are we able to transfer the standard without withdrawing the learner from the L2 standard?

Yes? I mean you'll have to fiddle around with AS records and TNPs and the like (and all the associated paperwork), but I think this is fine?

We'd just withdraw, and create a new enrolment for L3 with all new paperwork. If it's non-levy, you probably can't back date a new reservation far enough back to pretend you were doing L3 all along, and I don't think you can change the Standard on an already approved DAS record?

Thanks both for getting back to me.  I think this would be a messy way of doing it, at best.  I think it will be best to withdrawn and crat anew enrollment.  Thanks both for you feedback.
