Study Programme delivery at evening

Hi

Is there any restriction on the delivery time for 16-19 study programme?  Some 18 yrs old students couldn't attend the normal day time English and Maths courses and hence Curriculums agree to deliver the teaching after 6pm.  I can't find any funding guidance in relation to this scenario.  Could anyone offer your thoughts and advice?

The definition of a fundable hour for study progs (P100) is it should be

  1. timetabled
  2. supervised
  3. take place in line with the institution’s normal working pattern

but does not define the last term explicitly. Given yr college must be open to be teaching them, this sounds "normal" to me?

I immediately though no, based on this rule:

But then I read this:

There's also this which is specific to placements, but has some good points about accessibility.

Thank you Steve and Ruth. I totally agree with your thoughts.  My college is open for other evening adult courses so it's still within our working pattern.  Our justification is based on that this provision is only on English and Maths courses for a very small amount of 18 yrs old students at college and we have taken account safeguarding measurement as well. We are trying to offer flexible and accessible learning opportunity for all students.
