R04 - Missing Additional Payment (Second Instalment)

Is anyone else missing any additional payments from their R04 Remittance? Our R04 Period End Reports showed we earned and would be paid 4 x non levy employer payments (so £2000). The Remittance is showing £1500 paid to us, so we are missing one.

3 of the apprentices qualifying started in November 2023 and 1 started in December 2023 (prior to the 23/24 R04) - so this payment should be the second instalment for all.

Any ideas as to why we are missing a payment?

Yeah, if the start date was December, even if it was in your R04, you'll not get it until next month, because the reference date is the last day of the previous month, not the close date.

Now we have our R05 Remittance through - it shows we will be paid the 'additional payment' for 34 apprentices which is what I would expect for December (as we have 34 apprentices who reach the 90 day mark in December).

However, I cannot see the payment that was due from the R04 (for the December starter) - would it be part of the 'additional payment' figure on the R05 remittance (as it was not on the R04 remittance)? Or will the 'missing' £500 appear somewhere else?
