I have 2 questions really.
Can an employer reduce an existing staff member's salary if they move onto an apprenticeship, to only pay the apprenticeship wage?
and also
If an apprentice has completed an apprenticeship with the same employer previously, and is looking at enrolling onto another, does this affect the rule where an employee can be paid apprentice salary up to 12 month?
Bit of a two-worded question but both can also be part of the same conversation. If somebody could offer some clarification or guidance on this please?

I'm sure the answer to the first is yes and a lot of people wouldn't enter into said apprenticeship unless they had very clear career goals and prospects.
