Redundancy

Created

Hi,

We have a learner who has completed over 75% of his apprenticeship and was made redundant last Friday (31st January).  So we can claim the rest of his funding from the government, can someone advise how I would show this on his ILR please.

I have created a new employment record for him showing him as having been made redundant.  I have added TNP3 and 4 for residual funding and added Contract Type 2 - Funded through a contract for services with the Skills Funding Agency.  Is this correct?

TIA

Yes to the new employment status, and don't forget to record OET 1 on the unemployed record. Don't touch the TNP, it'll just get sorted out by ESFA. Did you see that as guidance somewhere? Don't forget to get the employer to stop their DAS record.

There's a sparse bit of guidance here

Many thanks Ruth.  With regards to TNP I thought it might be treated like a change of employer.  I have deleted these now.  I have recorded OET1.  I have also removed the Date to in the ACT

I know where you're coming from with that logic, so it would be good if there was better guidance on this. The PSM is usually pretty good, but not in this instance.
