PDSAT Annotations Not Updating

Created

Hi All,

I don't know if anyone else is having the same issue as me, when using the PDSAT system, I upload my data, download the report, check and annotate, and upload the spreadsheet to the system.  The next time I run a report, I might need to update information on the annotations, so follow the same process, but I am finding once I have uploaded the spreadsheet with the annotations updated from what was originally in there, the next time I run a report, it defaults the annotations back to the original ones, not the new ones I have entered and uploaded, or sometimes leaves the cell blank, even though I have entered text in it before uploading.

I have raised this with the KPMG helpdesk, but not heard back yet.  Is anyone else having this problem, and know anything I can do so I don't have to check what annotations have saved, and what I need to re-enter again?

Thanks

Lisa

Well I have been getting the same issue as well.

When I upload my annotations and get a new set of reports some of the annotations I entered last month are not there and are blank, the 1st report always never copies my annotations over to the next month.

Be interesting to see what KPMG come back with.

Thanks Peter, glad to hear I am not the only one this is happening to.

When I hear back from KPMG I will update this thread, hopefully there will be a resolution for us!

Hi Peter,

Just to let you know I have had a reply from KPMG and they have said the functionality for 24/25 annotations isn't available yet, they are still working on it, and will let me know when they have an update.

This would explain the issues we are having, but doesn't help this far into the academic year :(

I've got mine in after a few attempts last week for R06. It does seem to be very hit and miss though each month.

We don't use their copy annotations feature do to reasons like this. I wrote an excel tool many years ago to copy DSAT annotations, and do other formatting we use on the reports.

If anyone is desperate you can email me and I'll send it over (richard.phipps@loucoll.ac.uk)
