Record a new OTJ relevant to the new duration. You only record the full original OTJ if it's a restart after a break. After a full withdrawal/transfer, it's always a new value.
I've never had one where it was a combo of calculating remaining funding and extra RPL in the meantime, that's an interesting one to think about if it happens here, but I'd take the same approach as you 😊

Returning to an original Standard after transferring off
Created
Hi all, we have an apprentice who was originally on an Engineering Standard, moved employers and transferred the Standard to a different Engineering one at that time. He is now going back to the original Standard with the second employer. Because both of the Standards are Engineering, he has RPL from the second Standard that is applicable to the 1st one that he is now returning to. We assume this will be recorded as a restart, we will reduce the TNP by the proportion of funding we have received already, plus an additional amount for the interim RPL, but what should we use an an OTJ figure? We would normally use the original figure for OTJ but is this correct? Should we be using a reduced figure?
Thanks all.
