16-19 Learner moved away

Hello,

We're looking for some guidance on how to best record the following scenario.

We have a learner that is 17 and is enrolled on a full time study programme. She moved away around a month a go but was keen to finished her course. The tutor has agreed to allow her to complete the course and has a weekly catch up with them which is recorded on one of our systems. The registers are still open for this learner which she is just being marked absent for.

What is the best way to record this learners hours, attendance etc if we were to be audited i want to make sure we have all we need to evidence the decisions made.

Thank you

As long as you have the evidence of contact and work being completed you shouldn't have an issue. I'm assuming the learner started in September or similar and has moved but is able to complete the course. Learner hours won't need to change from what was planned (unless any distinct qualifications will now no longer be deliverable. I would be marking them as as closed off any registers they will not longer require attendance/monitoring on though if your organisation has a mark for distance learning that would also suffice.
