Apprenticeship standard completion

Created

None

Hi all,

Could someone confirm that I am over thinking this please?

When an Apprentice achieves their end point assessment, it is this date that is processed via the ILR not the date that they completed the actual apprenticeship elements?

Also, we process the EPA certification date not the date that the learner sat their EPA?

TIA

We use the date that they sit their final element of EPA as the achievement date

Same as Chloe. ILR Spec says "This field is used to record the conclusion of the End Point assessment period". PSM says "For standards that started, or originally started, after 1 May 2017 and ended their end point assessment period on or after 1 August 2019, this field should be used to record the date the end of the end point assessment". If they don't pass, it can't be the certification date, so you'd have two different definitions of Achievement Date if you used that.

Thanks so much, just checked with compliance and we do process the date the final EPA element is achieved. Thank you :)
