You need to flag it as a Restart in the ILR, that should stop the errors. You just don't record an Original Start Date if it's a restart after a full withdrawal.
The price and hours will reflect the new period only, unlike a restart after a BIL, which repeats the full OTJ and price.
You still need to make sure the total duration and hours meet the minimum when added together, since both periods were with you as a provider. If you need to reteach bits after such a long break, you're still capped at band max minus whatever funding you claimed for teh first period.

Apprentice withdrawn and now returned to same employer.

We have a learner who was enrolled on a L2 apprenticeship that withdrew back in Aug 23 after completing 20 months on program on account of leaving his employment . However, he has now returned to the same employer and wants to continue his programme. I am struggling to find clarity on how we could do this, as if it was a BiL we could just restart the learning but as it has withdrawn i'm not sure. It keeps erroring the batch as duration too short? Any ideas MTIA
