Learner restarting the same standard/QAR issue

Hi

I have a learner who did the Team Leading standard and withdrawn in 22/23. The learner has now started this standard again in 24/25. This has caused the original ILR to appear in the XML file and along with the new one and is counting as a withdrawal twice in terms of QAR.

I have temporarily changed the standard code on the new ILR and the problem rectifies so the issue is clearly because it is the same standard.

Any help would be appreciated.

I think that is a software issue. Out MI system wouldn't include the original period unless we did that on purpose. You need to find a way of excluding that original enrolment from your 24/25 ILR. I guess it's doing that because it's what you do for a Break (keep including the temp withdrawn enrolment until the restart has finished), but it shouldn't do that for full withdrawals.

Thanks Ruth, yes I did wonder about our MI system but wasn't sure if there could be another reason. I'll report the issue to them.

One thing I could do is exclude the original ILR from being exported..
