This sort of gets touched upon in the T Level industry placements: delivery guidance in section six. I say sort of because that section deals with those who haven't met the minimum industry placement hours due to a special consideration as well as those who haven't competed the the placement within 2 years and the ILR guidance really only mentions the former.
Josh Hough I read that, but it doesn't explain what to do with the ILR data 😕 It wasn't a special consideration. As I understand it, any student can just go past 31 July of their final year.
I just rolled everything into 25/26 with the ZPROG and IP still Continuing in 24/25. The IP has now been completed in 25/26 with a matching end date on the ZPROG in 25/26. I didn't do anything else special. They're in our 25/26 ILR but aren't appearing in the 16-19 Summary of Funding by Student Report, which I expected.

T Level Placement Continuing into a Third Year

Hello,
I've looked everywhere, but I can't find how to record it in the ILR when a student hasn't finished their Industry placement by 31 July of their final year. I'm sure they're allowed to carry on longer to complete the placement, but I can't see how to code it. Do we migrate the data into another year immediately? Do we wait and see if it gets closed down before R14? What about the programme aim? What about teh results service (I don't deal with that part)?
I've got the Annex I: Industry placement continuation notification form (which I assume we need to complete), which says:
What does pending mean in the ILR? Just no end date? Our MI system has year independent placement data, and since the placement ended in August 2025, that's being reported in 24/25.
Any ideas or experience with this?
