Hi, as per the technical funding guide section 6 and 6.2, assuming this applies then co-investment is not required up (up to the band max):
Co-investment up to the funding band maximum is not required if the apprentice:

and employer are eligible for the extra support for small employers described in the extra support for small employers for starts up to 31 March 2024 section of this guidance. Note this exception is only for starts up to and including 31 March 2024

starts their apprenticeship training, on or after 1 April 2024, with an employer who does not pay the apprenticeship levy and the apprentice is either aged:
a) up to 21 at the start of their apprenticeship training, meaning 16 to 21 years old at the start (or 15 years of age if the apprentice’s 16th birthday is between the last Friday of June and 31 August)
b) 22 to 24 at the start of their apprenticeship training and have been, or are, in the care of a UK local authority or has an Educational Health Care plan

Hi, we have an Apprentice who started with a non-levy employer who have 60 employees. She is 17 years of age at her start date, am I correct in saying that the Employer does not need to pay 5% contribution? TIA.
