Hi,

Not sure if anyone has come across this but there seems to be an issue with FIS freezing when using the latest reference data. I re-installed FIS and updated the reference data again and the same thing happened. Therefore, I re-installed and uploaded a file without updating the reference data and it worked fine.

 I have just completed a 2526 ILR file through the latest reference data. Please can you contact us via the online form: Home  - Customer Help Portal 

and attach a copy of the most recent error log file which is located in the 'Logs' folder where you have FIS installed.

I have the same issue- I've sent a report.

Helpdesk provided a workaround - the issue was the location of  the folder with the downloaded and extracted FIS programme which needs to be in the  C:/Users/[user]/  folder, not anywhere else.

Yes or you can just re-install FIS each time until it gets sorted. It allows one file to be uploaded after installing but then freezes!
