E-Visas

Hi everyone, has anyone sussed out why some e-visas show the 'status' of the individual and some don't? All show a date when the individual can be in the UK until but we are so used to knowing what status someone is that it's unsettling a little to not know for some people and we just find the HO checking site inconsistent in this respect but reckon someone somewhere might know why this is?

I have raised a query with Home Office but haven't heard back yet.  Anybody have the same experience and figured it out?  A number of them also include this line now which I'm not entirely sure how to deal with "study - subject to Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) conditions".  Does this mean they have an ATAS certificate or not, I don't think it's clear?  Anything anyone else has figured out on these would be great.  I have examples of each below, first one doesn't show a status but second one does.

I’m trying not to respond with bad language but other than for learners with pre/settled status , e-visas don’t seem worth their while.

I would personally ask the learner for their previous BRP and see what status this referenced or if they have a supporting letter that was issued once they were granted their Evisa that may help.

We also do the same when the status is too generic like family/child as this doesn’t tell us anything

Yes, we ask for supplementary info, the online stuff just isn't enough. What was the point of this online service if we can't even see what their status is?
