That's all you need to do (record correct hours for their time with you). There used to be a cross provider report that looked at students enrolled at two providers at once, but they scrapped that. In our experience, it was always the first provider who hadn't recorded the withdrawal in time, or with the right date. You're not accountable for whether the first provider does their job properly.
Withdrawing and enrolling at another provider
97. When a student withdraws from the whole of their programme at one provider and enrols at another provider within the same funding year, the first provider will receive funding (as long as the student has completed the programme qualification period), adjusted by the retention factor. The second provider should record the student on a full-time or part-time programme, according to the number of hours that their programme holds for the remainder of the year. Depending on when the student enrols, they may count in the year’s student numbers for the following year’s allocation. They will always be included in the full year’s data to determine funding factors.

16-18 Provider Transfer
Created
Hi,
I can't seem to find anything on how we need to record a 16-18 funded learner who is transferring to us from another provider after 42 days.
I assume that we would reduce the planned hours to be the duration on programme with us, but not sure how it works with them being funded elsewhere?
Thanks
