Adding learners via ILR to DAS

Good morning all,
Do we happen to know when the above feature will be solely the only way to add learners to DAS,
I knew it was being tested and rolled out and we have used it, but i remember seeing something that this would be the only way to do it at some point and couldn't remember the rollout date?

Hopefully it won't replace 'upload a csv' as that would turn a five minute job into something that takes forever and could lead to more errors.
I contacted the helpdesk in december to ask when the manual option was being removed and they wouldn't say, not even an estimate. They did say the CSV option is staying indefinitely, though (thankfully).
