Co-investment showing contribution due for 20year old?

Created

None

Hi, Has anyone else got any 19 - 21years showing as needing co-investment on the report? There isn't any additional coding needed is there? I'm sure my Sept starts all look ok and aren't showing on the period-end co-investment report, however 3 x new Feb 26 starts are showing as contributions needing to be collected. They are all non-levy and showing correctly on the report that they were never levy funded. I'm stumped. Thanks

Have you checked that (TNP1+TNP2) < funding band Max?
From memory the Co-Investment report will show the difference, even for 16-21 year olds, as any funds above the band max are expected to be paid by the employer regardless of age.

That's a good thought Phil. Even if TNP1+TNP2 isn't above band max, there may have been prior funding claimed on that Standard (don't assume the student will have declared that, but you'd see it on their PLR). One way to establish whether we've been capped due to prior funding, is to check what we're receiving per month, multiply that by planned months, multiply that by 1.25 and if that is lower than our TNP1+TNP2, the difference is what funding was already claimed.
