Change of Provider and which rules to follow
Created
If we take on an apprentice now from another provider, that started in 22/23, do we follow the 22/23 OTJ rules or the 25/26 OTJ rules? I feel like it's the 25/26 rules but I'm doubting myself.
We'll be doing a skills scan to establish how much we think we still need to deliver. Previously that would lead to a planned duration which drove OTJ, but in 25/26 we'd turn that into how many hours we didn't need to deliver compared with what we usually deliver, to give a planned OTJ, and the duration can be whatever we see fit. The price we calculate is likely to be more than what's left in the band, so we'll just charge what's left.
I know the Phours_08 validation rule allows us to go below 187 if it's a restart. The apprentice in question is pretty close to finishing, so this is a possible scenario.

Definitely the 25/26 rules.
And, yes, you can still put the restart flag in so the 187 hour rule doesn't trigger.
