Errors not clearing

I do have an open ticket but R04 looms.  I use file merge to add ILRs from several subcontractors to mine. There have always been duplicate  records for ULNs as a learner may have visited more than one of our different subcontractors - this was always a warning - but its now turned into an error - is there anyway to correct this without a lot of fiddling to the XML file?

Hi,

I have not used the current file merge but it always used to be the case that a learner should only have one record so there should never be duplicate ULN’s.

The only workaround is to ensure the learner reference numbers are the same on all the ILRs before they are merged and then they will be combined into single records as required.

I think one of the issues is caused if you have a learner with records with two different subs but in the same contract year.  Have you tried adding the previous ID number on the latest record?

Sue and Martin I tried to tag you in the post but it ends up just adding my name, I have ensured there is only one learner number per learner and in the past this has just given a series of warnings not errors
