We had this query a while ago on feconnect, and the answer was the end of the EPA. Honestly, I don't think it makes any difference if you use the practical period end date though, as the DAS date doesn't control anything. It doesn't have to match what's in your ILR, and the ILR date is what controls the funds taken from the DAS. We've got loads of records in DAS with an end date that's the practical period planned end date, and I'm not going to fix them.
It really doesn't help that this same piece of information is variously referred to in the Apprenticeship Service as "Training end date", "Planned End Date", "Projected Finish Date" and probably another one too.
Here's the feconnect conversation; http://feconnect.education.gov.uk/forums/topic/end-date-on-the-das/
I have the same query. On the employer account it refers to 'Training end date' which is the end of the delivery period prior to EPA. But other guidance I have read states :
"The employer (or the training provider on their behalf) only needs to enter the projected finish date for the whole apprenticeship in the apprenticeship service. This includes the end-point assessment period".

Projected finish date on Apprenticeship Service Account

Please can you advise what date should the employer put on the "Projected Finish Date" on Apprenticeship Service Account. Should this be the Practical Period End or the EPA End?
I think I know the answer, but I have one employer arguing with me........ I hope I'm right anyway! 🤔
Is there any written documentation posted where I can pull of this information to send to them
