Learner made Redundant whilst on a Break in Learning

If a learner is made Redundant whilst on a Break in Learning, does the rule re Under 6 months from PED or over 75% / Over 6 months from PED or under 75% start from the day they are made Redundant (whilst on their break) or from the day they return to programme?

If it starts from the day they are made Redundant and that date is within 6 months of the original PED, do they automatically become Fully Funded on the day they return if they have not secured new employment?

Thanks

I'd say it has to be that they were less than 6 months/25% from the PED when they originally went on a BIL. I also think you shouldn't artificially shorten the restart either, by deliberately not extending their planned end date by the same duration they had as a break. I'm not sure you'll find it in the written rules, but this is clearly in the spirit of the rules.
