You are correct Rachel. The Learner Entry Tool is a very simplistic way for Providers to submit their ILR file, but without any significant system behind them. It is intended for those with only a few learners who cannot justify the investment in a significant MI system. There are quite a few users out there and some frustrations about the lack of features.
If you have a significant 3rd party tool or MI system instead then all you really need to know is that it exists and that is what people are talking about when they refer to the LET.

Does anyone know what ESFA mean when they talk about the LET? and can training providers see it in someway?
