Steve Hewitt That's my concern - the eligibility for EU learners changes. We need to know so we can communicate not just to our staff but to our clients as well. The impact could be significant for our clients that want to take on apprentices as we do under the current funding rules. Don't want to recreate the nativity scene - "sorry, no room at the inn, you can't come in"...We need to educate all our clients and staff as soon as possible :(
I'd imagine it's all tied to pre-settled/settled status for those who were here before 1 Jan 21 and what to do with learners who *don't* have it (not least because it looks like the registration process is struggling to cope) because it's not like they're "illegal" or lose the right to work without it, as far as I can tell, so I suspect it's HO saying "you shouldn't fund them" and DfE saying "why not?"
Steve Hewitt I hope they resolve it soon as we are fast approaching the finishing line for 20/21! I remain ever hopeful that we will get them at the very latest, first week of July (and that's late enough as it is!)
Hi all, the Apprenticeship Engagement Service says:
The on-demand recording is currently available through our webinar channel until 19th August, please click on our webinar registration page link and then find the recorded webinar, click into it and register to watch it.
The permanent home for the recording will be on the YouTube channel in about 3 weeks' time.
Hope that helps

Apprenticeship Funding Rules 21/22
Created
Just putting a wildly hopeful post out here in the chance that someone from the ESFA may read it. Any chance of having the 21/22 funding rules in the next month, just so we can get our processes and paperwork ready prior to the start of the the new funding year rather than running around like headless chickens trying to resolve it when the new funding year commences? It becomes rather frustrating otherwise.
TIA,
Mel
