You don't. We don't record pathway in the ILR (not to be confused with the old Framework pathways, which is what all PSM guidance is referring to), so there's nothing to change.
We also choose to have separate course codes for separate pathways, so we move them internally, but the dates and everything else for the ILR remains the same. I have a golden rule in Student Records, which is "Never transfer from A to A". Unless something changed in the ILR fields, you record the old code as not in the ILR (whatever dates you like), and the new one has all the same ILR data as the original.
Changing employer is a separate thing. If the gap was more than 30 days and so you had to record a break, you can just put a break on the old code, and restart on the new code (reporting the Original Start Date of the old one).
Thanks Ruth Canham-James. I think we need to stop having bespoke 'pathway' courses for Standards - more trouble than they are worth!
It is annoying, but I console myself with the fact that it's a whole lot easier than a Framework pathway transfer! You just have to explain to curriculum that the start date will be be when they started the wider standard, not just this pathway. Same applies for version, we often have separate internal codes for that because it feeds our Apprenticeship tracker, which I'm told can only have one set up per course code. Even if we record version on the DAS, it's not a new enrolment when it changes.

Apprentice Transfer to Different Pathway
Created
Hello - we use ProSolution and I need to process a record for an apprentice who has changed employer and will be changing pathway.
We have a Programme (ZPROG001) + Component Aim (60341464) set up for the Environmental Technologies pathway. We then have another Programme (ZPROG001) + Component Aim (60341464) set up for the Gas pathway. They are set up this way as the internal course titles denote the Pathway.
How do I transfer him off of the original Programme and Component Aim and onto the new one - they are, in ILR terms, the same courses / aims - ZPROG001 and 60341464?
Thanks
