Subcontractors

Hi All,

We are currently looking into Cognassist and I believe this would fall into the bracket of a subcontractor.

I am completely new to the world of subcontracts, where is best to find all the bits I need to do to be ESFA compliant?

I have looked in the funding rules paragraphs 185 to 205 and  at the Apprenticeship subcontractor rules

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/975795/2021_Provider_Rules_Version_5_v_1.0_FINAL.pdf

Is there an example of a policy or any clearer instructions on how to do this correctly?

Thank you !

For everything non apprenticeship look at the newly published ESFA subcontracting rules: https://www.gov.uk/government/collections/post-16-education-subcontracting-using-funding-to-offer-education-and-training If its Apprenticeship related then there will be a subcontracting section in the 21/22 rules when they are published, otherwise look at last year's docs. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions as I'm a Subcontracting Manager.
