Does anyone know if a list of national Skills funding eligible courses has been published as a excel document? We had one last year but I can find is this but its a web-page version with no learning aims:

Ugh, that's annoying...

Looks like we'll have to use the great big spreadsheet here Qualification Downloads - ESFA List of Qualifications approved for funding (education.gov.uk) and filter on Column AP, NatSkillsFundLevel3_FundingAvailable

Thanks Steve Hewitt, I download it too and filtered on the NSF column. #annoying

The other thing to be aware of is that new L3 Quals being added to the online list do not show as NFL L3 Offer (under the Categories) in FALA (or the Excel version) until the next FALA monthly update by the looks of it. We have come across this scenario both this week and in 20-21.

@benjamin- thank you. Ill have to have another check in a month or so. Why they cant just provide the spreadsheet like last year I'll never know.

Meanwhile, we have to have confidence that if it's in the online at Gov.UK  List it's fundable under the NSF offer .... but we also need to establish when it's seen as eligible for new starts; (entry onto the online list, with limited details behind it) OR entry onto FALA?

Can anyone confirm whether aim 60320230 is funded under the National Skills Fund in 21/22? FALA has a LDNS for Adult Skills as 31 July 2021. There is no separate funding line for NSF, so I assumed it fell under Adult Skills. However, this page says it is funded until 31/07/2022;

https://www.qualifications.education.gov.uk/Qualification/60320230

Do we really have to check another website other that FALA to get NSF funding expiry?! Why isn't that on FALA? The category effective to dates are all 31 December 2600.

Benjamin Cowdery The thing with that list, is that is doesn't have the funding approval end date on it, so it isn't useful in isolation. It includes the Pearson Extended Diploma in Public Services, which isn't fundable under NSF for 21/22. If you check https://www.qualifications.education.gov.uk/ it has a funding approval date of 31/08/2021.

I object to this not being on FALA. That (and its predecessors) has always been our definitive guide to what is funded. Now I have to check the "ESFA List of Qualifications approved for funding" as well. That's not efficient.

Benjamin Cowdery

I agree.

The list I signposted to could potentially throw up Red Herrings as per your example, and doesn't confirm LDNS etc... Let's hope the ESFA pick this theme up.
