In theory, ESFA will contact you and tell you how to return it. As I understand it, you don't do anything until they tell you (except maybe tell your Finance team that it's coming). I think they just let it slide last year and didn't contact anyone, though we had a small amount we expected to pay back. Guidance does say "We will recover any over claim of funding from the previous year after the close of the R14 data submission". Contact your territorial manager if you want to be sure.

Post-16 monitoring reports - FRM27

Good Morning All,
I am filling in some knowledge gaps and wonder if any one can advise on the Post-16 monitoring report FRM27. These are learners identified where we have WD back into the last contract year. What I need to clarify is how the funding is clawed back if any of these are identified, is it something that is done at close of contract year, automatically by the ESFA? or something a provider should do manually?
