Hi,

If an MD of a PR company wished to undertake an apprenticeship in Digital Marketing - who would sign the Commitment Statement and Apprenticeship Agreement? I know this may beg the question why someone would be doing this but it appears she would gain new KSBS?

We've come across this once in the past and decided not to accept them on the basis we couldn't find another employee who was suitable to attend progress reviews and provide on-programme/EPA support. I wonder whether for the purposes of onboarding you could get a member of the HR team to sign commitment statement and app agreement?

Would be interesting to know what other providers think

Doesn't everyone have someone to report to? Surely they must have a line manager who could sign it or a cfo etc?
