Funding adjustment for prior learning
Created
I'm aware that the 'Funding adjustment for prior learning' field should only be populated for FS aims where the learner is restarting and they are not required to complete the full extent of the aim, and that any adjustment as a result of prior learning otherwise should be reflected in the negotiated price.. but for arguments sake, what would happen if we did record a 'Funding adjustment for prior learning' and reduced the price? Would we be 'penalised' twice, or is the fact the programme is 1-Employer funded mean that effectively the 'Funding adjustment for prior learning' is ignored on the programme aim?

The funding adjustment for prior learning is not recorded on the FM 36 Apprenticeship programme aim.
Thanks Martin. I guess my question is, we've found some where people in our team have recorded it (erroneously).. would this have any financial impact?
Not for FM standards, but not sure on FM 36 frameworks as funding for disadvantage and framework uplifts does not come from levy funding but from the ESFA (but I expect/hope they have excluded this scenario from the calculations).
Thanks both. I've had a quick butchers at the apps monthly payment report just now and it echoes what you've both confirmed. I'll set about correcting the ILR!
