TNP records

Hi there

I have an apprentice where the  TNP 1 and 2 record were created but  the wrong amounts were entered so the total  was above the funding band so didn't match the AS - - the start date entered was 11/10/21 , we then created a 2nd  TNP 1 and TNP 2 records for the correct amount with the record start dates 15/10/21.  However we are still getting a data lock error as the TNP 1 and 2 being used to match against AS are  still the records with a start date 11/10/21 not the updated records

should we be using TNP 3 and 4 for the correct values ?

any advice appreciated

Thank you

Linda

You only needed to update the original TNP amounts as the start date is within the current year.

Hello,

Can someone help please?

We recorded the TNP3 and TNP4 incorrectly with the start date 19/06/2023. Can we change the TNPs now?  If not, can we record the correct TNP3 and TNP4 with the date 26/10/23 (the date we are correcting the error)? Thank you.

Hi, If you submitted these dates in your 22/23 ILR then you will have drawn down funding for June and July that will have to be repaid (using EAS I think?). If you have drawn down funding for periods 1 & 2 in 23/24 ILR submissions, this should be corrected if you change the start date to 26/10/23 and submit with period 3.

Updated: of course, if you had earlier TNP records in 22/23 at a higher rate than the TNP3&4 effective 19/06/23, then  you will have lost some funding in June & July 22/23. Correcting the new TNP 3&4 records to be effective 26/10/23 should sort out 23/24 funding however.
