GCSE Resit Achievements From Another Provider
Created
Hello,
It's that time of year again. Students are coming in with 4+ grades from resits with their previous school, and wanting to stop their GCSE lessons with us. I've heard so much contradictory information over the years on what to do with these, so what is the current consensus?
Where did that come from? Does anybody have that in writing from ESFA? The other options I can think of involve us not getting the hours and failing CoF, or recording a withdrawal. I think there used to be some idea that you could claim a pass in your own data even if they sat the exam somewhere else, but that could only work if it was the exact same aim, and even then it just doesn't seem right.

Last year, you shared this advice @CarolM; https://esfahelp.education.gov.uk/hc/en-gb/community/posts/360010260799-GCSE-Resit-Achievements
