Does anyone know how we go about finding the EDRS No for an employee.

We have multiple site around the UK, with varying numbers of employees working on them.

You can find the ERN (or 'EDRS' as a lot of people call it) on this website - Welcome to the Employer Data Service (education.gov.uk)

Thanks for this.

It asks me to register but what is the UPIN?

Register on Employer Data Return Service (EDRS)

https://edrs.sfa.bis.gov.uk/search/lsc/

Your UPIN is recorded as your Provider ref in the ILR return title

Register on the Employer Data Service (EDRS) using your UPIN to be able to:

place adverts on the find an apprenticeship service using recruit an apprentice

return information in the ILR

Employer providers are required to get a separate EDRS number for every employer site.

Where about's should I be looking for this.

I thought it might be the UKPRN, but it is not

Martin West

Sorry got it wrong it not in the ILR but it is your six digit provider number: This is the Unique Provider Identification Number (UPIN) assigned to all organisations contracting with the SFA, you should be able to find it on your contract documentation.

So having now registered on the site and created a Username and Password, my first search has found the Employer Site, but no EDRS No.

There is a Yellow triangle with an ! in it and it says There are changes pending on this record and therefore cannot be updated.

What does that mean?
