EDS number

As far as I can tell, we can't add to or change any of the data on EDS. It *appears* to effectively be dead data. If you can't find the employer you can use 999999999 and it won't error.

 From the 1st of April 2022 the Employer Data Service will no longer be issuing ERNs for new employers.

For ILR returns please use 999999999 for both the employer identifier and work placement identifier fields where an employer does not have an ERN. The existing validation rules have been changed so you now longer need to update the record after 60 days.

But after 60 days it will show as an an error , right?

They should no longer show up as an error after 60 days, the validation rules have been updated to reflect the change.
