ULN Error

Created

None

New one on me....getting this error having created a record for a learner on the LRS:

ULN_05

'Unique learner number' (ULN) is wrong. The 'unique learner number' (ULN) must exist in the Learner Register or be the default learner number (9999999999) if you're waiting for the learner's ULN registration. Check 'unique learner number' is correct.

Does the LRS take time to register the learner as normally i have created the record + ULN & gone straight into SLD and never had this before.

Of course when i then try 9999999999 it rightly says i am not able to use this format!

Any ideas?

Ooh, once upon a time it did used to only be an overnight run, so ULNs created today didn't show up until tomorrow, but I know it's more frequent that that now. I don't think it's *quite* instantaneous (and, perhaps particularly so if you were creating new ULNs at 10pm?), but have a go now and I'd be very surprised if it wasn't OK?

Hi Dan

Submit Learner Data (SLD) typically takes a feed of ULNs from the Learning Records Service (LRS) once per hour, so you may need to wait up to 60 minutes after creating a ULN in LRS before you can submit it to SLD.

I hope that helps.

Thanks Greg!
