EPA Non Attendance

Created

None

Hi, we had a Apprentice Learner who was booked in to attend her EPA and due to stress/anxiety issues she wasn't able to attend.  Are we still entitled to any outcome payment or not?  My common sense says no but just thought I would check.  Thanks in Advance.

Unfortunately not, unless the apprentice intends to do it another time. In order to secure the completion payment the programme has to have been marked as completed on the ILR (amongst other things). In your case, the learner did not complete the EPA activities and therefore cannot be marked as 2/completed;

In order to be recorded as ‘Completed’ (Completion status code 2), both the training and end point assessment activities for the programme must be completed. An end point assessment that has resulted in a failed outcome can be classed as complete as long as the learner reaches the end of the end point assessment period, rather than withdrawing. If either of these have not been completed, then the programme aim cannot be recorded with Completion status code 2.
