Calculating RPL (Round up or down?)
Created
None
Hello All,
I am currently calculating RPL for some learners and the total training figure is coming out at £22,389.60.
Do I need to round this up or down? As I know pennies can't be utilised in the ILR or DAS.

It's entirely your prerogative (we usually round up), but whichever direction you choose to round it, that should also be the price you quote in your contract with the employer.
Yeah, you'd want it to be consistent (simple way would be to use ROUND on the spreadsheet that's calculating it, so it always comes out as a whole number!), so you can demonstrate it to an auditor, but I can't see anyone arguing over 50p...
