Unfunded EPA

Created

Hi All,

We have a learner who became unemployed during EPA, and wasn't able to find another employer so we are unable to claim any funding for the EPA as the learner wasn't made redundant.

The end of their practical period was in July and they have completed EPA in September.

I have looked and cannot see how I code the ILR so we don't claim any funding for the EPA, would I just need to make them a leaver from the end of their practical period, as although they did complete EPA this cannot be claimed for.  If there are any other alternatives as to what we need to do please let me know as we don't want to claim the money we are not entitled to.

Many Thanks

Lisa

Yes.

The only exception (as you've pointed out) is where they've been made redundant, which doesn't appear to be the case unfortunately.
